It is not a farewell, but everything comes to an end. And so does our 2014’ season. Each year, at the end of October, we close the doors of the hotel until the spring, when the good weather comes back again. The winter in Castrojeriz is cold, so cold that we merely have visits, that is the reason why we prefer to rest and take advantage of that time to make small fixes and improvements that are always necessary. Ultimately, we prepare everything to get ready for when the good weather arrives.
As you know, this year has been our second year of life. The balance has been positive, and, in addition of having worked very hard, we have learned much and, above all, enjoyed our guests, their company, their adventures… it is a pleasure to participate in an activity as special as the Camino de Santiago, because you know that the pilgrims will not forget it. We like to think that we helped them to enjoy this adventure and… We also want to be part of those memories! Even though they might be a small part of these memories…
We want to thank all those who have visited us, since your congratulations, thanks and even criticism, have helped us to keep working harder and improve day by day.
