Castrillo Matajudíos cambia de nombre

Most of the inhabitants of the village of Castrillo Matajudíos voted on the past 25th for the renaming of the town.   The name with the most votes was Castrillo Mota de Judíos. In the consultation participated 52 of the 56 registered residents. A total 29 citizens voted in favor of changing the name , while the 19 left voted against. Mota refers to a low rise hill rising above a plain. That speck is visible from the main square of the village. We helped an American client who was here to cover the story and needed a translator. Hotel Emebed Posada on the radio!

On May 10 we had the pleasure of participating in a radio interview. The program “The handle” of esRadio Castilla y León, directed and presented by Javier Pérez Andrés, performed his usual Saturday morning program in Castrojeriz. Among others, tourism and housing issues were discussed. For this reason, several representatives of the most important local places were invited, and with the honor of being one of them.
